We're getting ready for this weekend's conversion.... have you updated your password yet? Remember, there will be some email disruption during the weekend but you won't lose anything... We just added procedures for doing what you need to do to your iPhone or iPad after the conversion is complete, or your Android device.

It's official- The email server upgrade has been scheduled. The "prepare by" date of 2/10 we were given was to prepare us for the upgrade, but wasn't the upgrade date itself (I know, confusing...)

The conversion is going to start on 2/24/2012 and will last ~ 72 hours.

If you haven't changed your password yet, here's what Microsoft has told us about that:

---------------------------------------
Critical step – Password change required Before you transition, all account administrators and end users must change their password in BPOS. By doing so, the updated password will be transitioned to Office 365 or the applicable service. Not changing passwords before the transition will result in users not being able to sign in to Office 365—multiple steps will be required to make this change post-transition.
---------------------------------------

So, if there was any confusion about the 8 digit password thing- EVEN IF YOU HAVE AN 8 DIGIT PASSWORD, YOU STILL NEED TO CHANGE IT. The new password must be at least 8 digits too.

We've made some simplified instructions with pictures here: http://www.redlance.com/365-changepassword.html

If you need help changing your password and updating the password in any iPhones, Android phones, iPads, or additional computers/laptops/netbooks, let us know.

I've created instructions with pictures for the 2 methods of changing your password available HERE.

Microsoft just notifed us that the transition will be happening soon. Officially, "Prepare to transition by 02/10/2012". A copy of the email we sent to you can be found HERE. This details what's going on and what you can expect. We will post updated information as we get it here so you can keep up to date. Of course, you can always call us too.

We just put this page up.... We will be posting status information about the transition here, as well as notifications, alerts, or steps you can take to get your email working again if you're having issues. You may have to hit F5 to refresh the page because your browser may be pulling up an old "cached" version instead of a brand new copy.
